The barrel used for injection in the hot chamber die casting machine is mounted on the injection mechanism. Its main part is immersed in a crucible filled with alloy liquid at a constant temperature. The advantages of this die-casting machine are simple production process, high efficiency, low metal consumption, and stable process. However, the injection chamber and the injection hammer are immersed in liquid metal for a long time, and the hammer has no cooling device, which affects the service life and easily increases the iron content of the alloy. Compared with the cold chamber die casting machine, its injection pressure is much smaller, generally around 7-14 MPa, and its structure determines that the hot chamber die casting machine cannot be made very large. In general, the largest model is 400 t (clamping force). Another obvious feature of the hot chamber die casting machine is that its clamping part has an inclination of about 150 relative to the horizontal plane. Hot chamber die-casting machines are currently mostly used for die-casting low-melting alloy castings such as zinc alloys, but also for die-casting small aluminum and magnesium alloy die castings.
